After your home inspection is complete, we'll email you a detailed, user-friendly report that will include descriptions written by your inspector of the home's components and any issues we found during our inspection. The report has all the information you need to start making the big decision about whether or not to purchase the home and preferred repairs, including compulsory photos and videos of our inspector’s conclusion. Maxwell Home Inspection Services is also licensed as a New York State Mold Assessment business, affiliated with our sister company, Albany Mold.
During the home inspection process when mold is discovered, a licensed New York State Mold Assessor is then required to provide a mold assessment which is then turned over to a licensed Mold Remediator. They will provide an outline of the work plan which lays out the required actions stated in our mold assessment. After the mold remediation company remediates the mold, our technicians will return to the mold worksite to determine if a mold clearance will be issued. If the mold remediation business remediated the mold in accordance with our mold assessment, then we will issue a clearance. However, if the mold remediation company does not remove the mold properly and or follow the mold assessment provided by our mold assessors, we will deny the mold assessment clearance.
